Red Light Camera Offences:
Failing to obey Traffic Lights incurs a pentaly of $396 and three Demerit Points

Penalties for Corporations:
Companies are required to nominate the driver responsible for any operator offences committed in a company vehicle. If the company fails to nominate a driver the Company is liable to pay the penalty of $3171. Once nominated the fine is reissued to the driver at the amount relevant to the offence.

Demerit Points:
Demerit points are lost on a License as Speeding and other Traffic offences occur.
An individual only has 12 Demerit points to begin with and lost Demerit points take 3 years to get back. It's important to keep your demerit points to maintain your Drivers License
